We believe the advice and recommendations contained in this information sheet will ensure the best result in brickwork can be achieved if the guidelines are followed:

• Bricks and Mortar are components of Brickwork, and both need to be used with care to achieve good Brickwork.

Detailed Information on the “Use of Masonry” with respect to materials, components, design and workmanship can be obtained by referring to BS 5628: Part 3.
In R.O.I reference is made to IS 325: Part 2, which is almost identical to BS 5628: Part 3.
