Local Clay Reserves

All clay is extracted locally once a year from four nearby reserves in County Tyrone and County Down. From this, bricks are extruded, fired and packed in Dungannon, ready for use in construction projects across the UK and Ireland.

Because of the short distances between our clay reserves, the factory and end user, the carbon footprint of our bricks is considerably lower than most building materials. Their natural longevity also enables them to be recognised as one of the most sustainable building materials, because the energy used in production can be spread across the many decades of each brick’s life.

The basic formula of each brick has not changed in centuries, meaning that the bricks are largely natural products. Architects and specifiers have long recognised that clay bricks age with grace.
